Robert Weathers

Pastor

Pastor Bob began his ministry at First Baptist Church in June of 2005. He had previously served at Bethel Baptist Church in Westminster, South Carolina, for nearly six years. Bob has also served other churches in North Carolina and in Texas.

Wanda Sue Guy

Administrative Assistant

Wanda Guy began as part-time secretary at First Baptist Church in September 2003. She holds a Business College Degree from Hazard Business College, Hazard Kentucky. She has had much experience in working in the church office and with members of the church. She was born into the family of a Methodist minister and also married a Methodist minister, helping in all facets of church work while living at home and then alongside her husband Dave during his 39 years of service.

Peter Icard

Church Financial Manager

Peter Icard joined the staff at First Baptist Church of Shallotte in January, 2008 as a part-time Financial Manager after briefly serving as a volunteer treasurer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Charleston Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Peter has been a member of First Baptist since 2004 when he joined with his wife Tracy. The Icard family consists of three children: Robby, Kaitlin, and Carrie. All three of these children are college students.
