Covid 19 Safety

Due to increased covid cases in our community, services will be live stream only until further notice.  Youth meetings are canceled.

Please note this information is for when we return to in person services:
Before You Come:

  • Check Your Health.  If you or a family member is not feeling well or showing any symptoms of illness, please stay home and view  the streaming service.
  • Register Online.  Each week please go to our website before you come and register your attendance at
    fbcshallotte.org/rsvp
. That will help us comply with
social distancing and encourage healthy practices. (Please note:   We use Eventbrite for registration. Don’t worry, you don’t have to buy a ticket!)
  • Bring Your Own Precautions.   If you have access to face masks, hand sanitizer, please be sure to bring it.  We do have a limited  supply available if needed.

What to Expect:

  • In person and streaming morning worship service at 11AM.  Live stream available at
        fbcshallotte.org/live, Facebook and YouTube.
  • No Worship Care, the Children’s Ministry Moment, or Kids Own Worship.
  • Sunday School classes are online only.  Find a class to join.
  • Worship Center and other contact areas will be sanitized during the week.
  • Pick up your wrist band for social distancing in the lobby on the way in.  The wrist bands are completely voluntary. They are designed to help communicate your comfort level with interaction while you are in the church building. For instance, wearing a red band indicates that you prefer to continue six-foot distancing at this time and prefer no contact; yellow indicates cautious interaction; and green lets your neighbors know you are good with high-fives and handshakes—but still washing hands! This is not a replacement for masks, hand sanitizer, or distancing, but it’s a great addition to help us all be more comfortable as we return to worship in-person! And let’s all be respectful of each other’s preferences!  Be sure to keep your bands and reuse them each week.
