Why followers of Jesus Christ should be a part of a small group is answered in scripture. We need accountability when we are tempted (Gal. 6:1). We need support when we are struggling (Gal. 6:2). We need encouragement when we are discouraged (1 Thess. 5:11). We need wisdom when we are learning (2 Tim. 2:15), and we need motivation when we are weary (Heb. 10:24).
