Build a Strong Bridge
The second step in resolving conflict involves building a strong bridge. The three pillars of a strong bridge. We must first remember the relationship (I’m praying for you, I’ve not forgotten you, and I remember the best about you.). Secondly we recall the fellowship we share in Christ and then we should expect a Christ-like response.
Start Talking
The dynamic of human interaction will sometimes include conflict. Unresolved conflict, from a biblical viewpoint, is a sin. The beauty of God’s Word is that He offers a means for believers to resolve their disagreements. From the Philemon, a tiny letter in the New Testament, we are shown those steps to resolution. We must take the initiative, consider the impact, and remember God’s grace in our own lives.
Keeping Perspective in 2017
As we consider this new year, there are three important truths that scripture reminds us of:
- Be Grateful: God Saved You
- Be Hopeful: God Called You
- Be Faithful: God Needs You
