Sundays at 9:45am

Join us on Sunday mornings as we study God’s Word together!  We believe that small groups of people are better able to interact and study God’s Word and grow together.  For that reason, there are small group Bible studies that meet every Sunday morning.   You will be strengthened and encouraged in your relationship with Jesus Christ, learn to understand and apply God’s Word to your life, and build relationships within the family of faith at FBCS!
 
Sunday School Ministry allows small group Bible Study to provide a strong foundational approach for making disciples. It is a place for connection, community, and pouring God’s Word into individuals.  Children and adult classes study The Gospel Project Curriculum, a study that goes through the Bible from start to finish over a three year period.  The size of the groups range from six to forty. So come and join us for a small group Bible study this Sunday!  There is a place for you and your family!

A group of ‘60 somethings, mostly retired couples and singles.  Many of our group are transplants from all over the country.  We care about and minister inside and outside the class through care groups. We take God’s Word seriously and have fun doing it.

Meet the Director

Tanya Jackson

 
Sunday mornings are the most treasured time for Tanya as she is able to provide a warm smile, handshake or hug to families as they arrive. Roaming the halls to give high fives to children, checking in on teachers and making connections with individuals and families, these are moments that confirm she is serving where God has placed her to serve His Kingdom. Her passion in this ministry is to see all ages have a desire to know God and to utilize God’s Word as their source of help and hope in all situations. As a church may we instill at the earliest age how important it is to know God’s Word for it is the ONLY unchanging source of truth.

Favorite Bible Verse – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from Christ.”

This Bible verse is why we share how AWESOME God is, so that others know that with God they can get through anything. God provides comfort in affliction and is the Father of mercies. May we provide comfort to others who experience trials, the same way God has provided to us.
 

PRETEENS & TEENS

Youth (7th-12th Grade)

Designed to help 7th-12th graders grow in their love and knowledge of God, challenge them to learn how to study the Bible on their own and to learn how to put their faith and knowledge of God’s Word in action helping each student learn how to become a fully devoted follower of Christ.
