Starts January 8, 2020

Good intentions are not enough.

When Helping Hurts offers a different framework for thinking about poverty and its alleviation. Rather than simply defining it as a lack of material things, the study addresses the roots of the issue: broken relationships with God, self, others, and the rest of creation.

Join together as a class or small group to explore how to help the poor without hurting them.

Sessions Include:
 1.  Reconsidering the Meaning of Poverty
 2.  Seeing God at Work
 3.  Why Good Intentions Aren’t Enough
 4.  Joining God’s Work
 5.  Fostering Change
 6.  Moving Forward
Study lasts for six weeks. Optional Workbook is available for $10.
